  • “Everus is the clearest example of the quarter's disconnect. The company beat estimates, raised guidance, and closed an acquisition that adds off-site modular construction for data centers. The stock fell sharply anyway. Our concern was less with Everus’s outlook and more with its valuation and the growth expectations already built into it. Data center construction is increasingly financed with debt in opaque structures, and if that financing tightens, contractors will feel it first. We sold the remaining position in September and used the proceeds to purchase KBR (KBR).”
