- December 2025
“Veolia Environnement (France, Utilities) – We sold Veolia as earnings momentum and visibility have softened following the strong turnaround and early integration progress after the Suez acquisition. The remaining phase of the cost-out program and “booster” growth plan is more operationally complex, increasing execution risk at a less supportive point in the European cycle. With meaningful exposure to industrial activity, we see higher sensitivity to European economic growth and less confidence in near-term delivery. At the same time, foreign exchange volatility is an added headwind given the high share of non- euro revenues. With expectations moderating and risk/reward less attractive, we exited the position and reallocated capital to higher-conviction names.”
Veolia - December 2025
“Sales/Trims American Water Works and Essential Utilities – Both names were reduced after their announced merger, which left us underwhelmed. Veolia – The position in French multi-utility Veolia was trimmed as we saw better investment opportunities to allocate capital.”
