“During the month we reduced investments in Lojas Renner and Vulcabrás due to the prospect of worse third-quarter results than expected. We replaced them with Banco Pine, XP, Rumo Logística and Equatorial.”

“Rumo Rumo presented a result in line with our expectations in the quarter. The main highlight continues to be the growth in volumes transported, which advanced 9% in the quarter and 16% in the first half accumulated, compared to the same periods of the previous year. We consider this performance especially positive because it demonstrates, at the same time, the company's operational execution capacity and the competitiveness of the tariff currently practiced. The growth in volumes indicates that the price level reached after the tariff repositioning process was able to attract a relevant amount of cargo to the railway, strengthening Rumo's competitive position in its region of operation. The combination of lower tariffs and expressive volume growth resulted in stable EBITDA compared to the previous year, a result that we consider satisfactory given the commercial repositioning process the company went through in recent periods. Rumo has been signaling that this process of recovering tariff competitiveness is, for the most part, concluded. From this point on, we expect a more favorable dynamic for results, with potential for tariff growth while the company maintains volume capture. This combination should allow a more positive evolution of results in the coming periods, after a period in which volume growth was accompanied by tariff reductions. In June, Rumo inaugurated its most recent terminal in Primavera do Leste, in Mato Grosso. The project expands the railway's presence in the interior of the state and brings the operation closer to the producing regions, Guepardo Investimentos | Av. Brigadeiro Faria Lima, 3015, 8th floor – São Paulo, SP – Brazil 01452-000 | +55 (11) 3103-9200 7 Letter to Investors – No. 118 2nd Quarter of 2026 increasing its competitiveness in the flow of agricultural production. The expansion reinforces the importance of the company's network for Brazilian agribusiness logistics. The inauguration also occurs at a time when the company signals the beginning of a new cycle, with greater focus on the utilization and optimization of the assets it already owns. After a period of network expansion and relevant investments, the priority becomes extracting greater productivity and efficiency from the existing structure, revisiting processes and structures and seeking a more efficient operation. In this context, we also expect a change in the character of the company's investments. New projects tend to be evaluated more selectively and carefully, with greater cash preservation and discipline in capital allocation, prioritizing investments that can be carried out within the company's own cash generation capacity. For this set of factors, we maintain a positive outlook for Rumo.”
